Though I’m more known for being a long time supporter of #International Women’s Day #IWD #IWD2026 through my work, including ‘She Reads She Leads’ non-profit book gifting initiative for women in need, I also support and participate with UNWomenUK in CSW.

 CSW70 is  the 70th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women, the UN’s largest annual gathering for gender equality, taking place from March 9–19, 2026, at UN Headquarters in New York with online access and activities across the globe.

The theme of CSW70 is access to justice for women and girls, alongside women’s safety and participation in public life and focuses on access to justice for all women and girls, addressing structural barriers and legal discrimination. 

The outcome of the Commission’s consideration of the priority theme during its 70th session will take the form of agreed conclusions, to be negotiated by all Member States.
